Huge fan of Le Tour myself. Whole incident is just awful. And the sign was a hello to his grandparents. Imagine how they feel as well. Kid should never have held that sign out but you almost gotta feel bad for him too. This is like that Cubs fan who had to go in hiding

Now that I know it was a woman who was at fault my sympathy toward her certainly has changed. I thought it was a kid

I read it was a female with the sign. Not that it really matters either way though. That was a blunder.

They shouldn't allow large signs along the route.
