She would be a huge upgrade on Trump too...the worst president in US history. By the way, isn't lack of self awareness your forte?

At this point I will be happy if the president and VP can learn to properly board a plane. Yes, I’m accepting the fact that I need to lower my standards.

Of all the things to criticize the government on...

this is a pretty dumb one. I mean the video is pretty short, maybe she just got finished saluting before the clip started?
Even if she didn't salute, so what? She's not the commander in chief.
I hate to defend this racist totalitarian tyrant, but in this case, this is silly.

Actually I agree even though I made a sarcastic comment earlier. I think we’re just frustrated that America put these people into power.

I will take you at face value on that then.
FWIW, not a fan of Kamala either. Her not saluting is not cool and that is definitely what I would regard as a "coachable moment" and shows her inexperience and disregard for the military personnel around her.
She does need to show the proper respect for them, and somebody needs to tell her that. She is VP now and needs to act the part.

"crapping their pants" over anything? Instead, search for reasonable discourse, and if it's not happening, change the channel.

Not to beat a dead horse,

and not to speak for everyone who didn't like Trump, but for me it wasn't about mean tweets or "orange man bad," though those seem to be frequent refrains from his supporters to, I have to assume, lampoon or cartoon-ify legitimate criticism of what had to have been the most incompetently run, hateful, idiotic reality TV administration of any of our lifetimes.
I actually find it very refreshing that political news and "scandals" are about Biden tripping or Kamala Harris not saluting, or Biden being a demented old codger and forgetting who he is, as opposed to our President threatening the NOAA over speaking out about an edited hurricane map, because the President was too sick in the brain to admit to a fault as small as tweeted something incorrectly. Or withholding congressionally appointed funding to an ally until they manufactured a scandal about his biggest political threat. Or covering for the Saudis when they murdered a journalist. Or publicly criticizing the leaders of our biggest allies and those most culturally similar to us (Canada, UK, Germany, France, Australia) while simultaneously courting Kim Jong Un, excusing Xi Jinping's concentration camps, praising Erdogan, praising Rodrigo Duterte handling of drug laws (ie extrajudicial killings).
I don't think those sorts of things, and I could go on for days, fall under "mean tweets orange man bad," I would categorize them as legitimately harmful to our country. Trump's presidency and his boorish behavior certainly made us more divided and polarized, where people walk down the street and categorize people they pass as friend or enemy based on who they think they voted for.

He did his best to divide. That said, he just made all of the losers become more vocal who supported terrible people like himself. The divide was already there. I think you are correct.
