Why does UNC have 9 ACC conference games listed in

their football schedule? I assume only 8 ACC games go toward the conference limit. Why is there a 9th game from the ACC membership?

Makes zero sense to play crappy UConn or SCSU when we have conference members we hardly ever see. Should be at least nine conference games, plus UofSuck, a marquee team and one other G5 team like AppSt or Coastal

There is a long time, usually, between scheduling a game, and playing it.
How long has Coastal been relevant?
I seem to remember, not too long ago, UConn spanked UofSC in a bowl game. Hmmm, scrath that last point

Slim chances it happens now. Even B1G considering going back to 8 conference games.
I personally couldn't care any less about playing any of the other Coastal teams more often (other than UNC and Miami).

Wake as a non conference game, that game does not hurt Wake's chances to win the Atlantic Division. By the same token, if Clemson wins out with the remaining ACC games, and Wake has a loss to Clemson and UNC then Wake's loss to Clemson would be their only ACC conference loss.
When was this agreement made with UNC (should not be shocked this is to help UNC)? The state of North Carolina has plenty of lower level schools should have a lower level team that would love to play UNC this season.

Also many of the ACC schools don't have as easy of a time as Clemson scheduling Home and Home marquee games like UGA, Auburn and aTm
