###, Nick? Think anyone else likes nooners? Think that you should be 100% exempt? Think that your home game against Southern Miss (what's the line there, 35?) would provide compelling prime-time TV? If you don't want nooners, don't play a weak schedule; heck, don't play games on TV because you let TV dictate your schedule time.

2010. I suspect they likewise complained about those and that is why the only SEC teams on ESPN Thursday nights are the lower-tier of Kentucky, Vandy, Chickens, etc.

One thing to keep in mind is a noon kickoff on ESPN is an 11:00 am start in Alabama. I imagine that’s difficult and a nuisance for the fans to get to several 11:00 am kicks a year. I’m glad we don’t have to deal with those early kickoffs. Noon kickoffs are bad enough.

This is 100% about trying to "stick up for the fans".

Saban knows that 3:30 games are typically hotter than noon games, but you don't ever see him complain about 3:30 games.

It may not be long before Clemson has the same issue as Bama if our fans get tired of rushing to noon games just to see a 30 or 40 point blowout. Even worse for Bama they start at 11:00 local time.

We are already seeing that opposing fans are not showing up to Death Valley to see their team lose by huge margins. This kept us from getting a single sellout game in 2018.

How long before the casual Clemson fan gets bored with winning in the way that the casual Bama fan already has?

I hope we fight that off as long as possible.

I will never get sick of blowing out opponents! In fact some on here act like it’s a loss if we don’t win by 40+

I agree with you.

However, there is evidence that many Bama fans have grown bored with it and human nature suggests that at some point some Clemson fans will do the same.
