Prayers for Tiger Woods

Tiger in a single car accident this morning in CA. Jaws of life used to cut him free. Hospitalized with injuries as yet unknown.

yikes I thought this was going to be about his back surgery and rehab because I saw he wasn't sure on playing at Augusta. I had no idea of this

They are currently showing the Golf channel what the car looks like after the crash.He is lucky to be living and only have multiple leg injuries.

Yes it does. I will just say Hogan was in a terrible accident and came back and won majors. However Hogan was not already nursing his activity from back surgery recovery when his accident occurred.

Hogan was actually 36 when he was in the accident. He collected a very nice settlement from the Greyhound bus company.

I know his current health is the first concern. Beyond that though, I know he was pulled over in the past due to being impaired medication. I hope the accident isn't the result of still dealing with those issues.

He was interviewed at the tournament Sunday, and he didn’t look good at all. It appeared that he might have been medicated.

It was my first thought when I heard he was in an accident. Then read it was a single car accident and I started to think it was even more likely.
I hope I'm wrong. But, if I'm right, I'm thinking: Can this man not afford a limo driver?

According to the LA Times sources he was speeding and lost control of the vehicle. According to TMZ he was speeding and almost hit another car when he pulled out of the parking lot where he was staying.

are mostly just talking about how long this could affect his golfing career, as if recovery to that point is a given.
If he truly has both legs fractured, at least one in multiple places, undergoing surgery for hours now, him
a) Keeping both legs
b) being able to walk normally again
are both in play right now WAY more than any talk about his golf career ought to be. If Kobe Bryant's crash should have taught us anything, it is that pro athletes get injured and die in accidents just like ordinary people.

They'll show the car from a helicopter for 24 hours straight while saying the same day thing over and over and over. The audience must truly be empty headed.

yep told my wife they just show that over and over and scroll tweets from everybody who sends on bout it while they blather and speculate. I will watch something when there is additional actual developments.

in both legs plus a shattered ankle. Sounds like there is also pretty extensive muscle and tissue damage from the fractures. I doubt he ever plays competitive golf again.
But i think his issues extend well beyond the golf course. Given the way this accident occurred and the way he looked on the golf broadcast Sunday, you have to really wonder if he's dealing with substance abuse issues.
