Victory over whining

last night at least (wont have to worry about staying up late to watch this national championship) we saw a defeat over whining First Jim Harbaugh (no explanation needed) and the non power conference teams like Cincinnati who despite non stop crying about being excluded from the play offs proved they cant play with the big boys

The point is they were the best teams and substituting other teams would not have made any difference.

Georgia loses to Bama by 17 and they are big boy football.

Cincy loses to Bama by 21 and that proves no G5 team deserves to ever get a playoff spot.

In all fairness to Ciny, 1st round CFP games are full of lopsided scores and teams being dominated. So nothing new.

The only big boys in recent years are 'Bammer, Clemson, Jawja, and Ohio State.

40 years ago today, Clemson was the team doing the whining. Yeah; Clemson, the cow college from nowhere, pulled it off. A couple of things though; it takes time to build a program to a championship caliber program and (2)it's harder now than it was then. The kids want all of the tv exposure and a proven track record of putting guys into the pros. The arms race is enormous and it's much harder to cheat your way into the club. That all being said, I thought Cincy played about as well as 80% of the playoff losers have in the first round. To say that they didn't belong is ridiculous.
