Nov 29, 2021, 1:41 PM

When it opens again

Oklahoma in the SEC is a dead end job

If Lincoln Freakin Riley didn't want the Oklahoma job anymore, why would Brent? He's better than that.

It was open a couple of years ago and he wasn't interested in that job.

I read where he turned down the K State job back around 2018.

I always assumed he would leave for that particular job since he played there. The fact that he did not take the job suggests he may not want to be a head coach. I for one hope that is the case.

I bet alot of that had to do with knowing his boys were

going and wanting to play at Clemson. Once his boys are graduated i bet he's on borrowed time. But i sure hope not. Thats why we need to pay him whatver the top assistant price is... create a new top tier level.

I don’t think they should think of themselves as tons better than 7-5

Klineman shouldn’t be in jeopardy

Considering he didn't go for it in 2018, tells 1 of following

Nov 29, 2021, 2:58 PM

1) he is probably content to be a coordinator instead of a head man

2) probably didn't want to leave here w/ his sons being on roster. Getting chances to coach his sons probably meant alot to him & he'll probably seriously consider jobs after Tyler is gone

3) he does want Kansas State job, but didn’t want to be the immediate replacement to Snyder. How many other places have we seen the man that replaced the man be a disaster in recent years?
