I guess I will chime in on the speculation and forgive me is this has already been mentioned. I wonder if Dabo has BV doing the right thing and telling recruits before the announcement to smooth it over and ensure they stay committed to Clemson.

I really hope this is not the case.

This is what Rob McRae posted this afternoon. I know, some of you don't care about him but local news here - Lexington TV said CBV is in the top 2. Their board is meeting tomorrow I think. They'll probably ok the package and I'm sure the interview hasn't occurred yet. So you may be on to something.

First - there is NO way Venables is out telling 18 year old kids what his plans are….zero chance.

Secondly, why does he have to come out and deny? That just empowers rumor mongering. He’s out doing his job! Don’t get distracted by the s#!? show of pinheaded prognosticators.
