Pitch down the middle on 3-2 pitch called a ball followed by wild pitch & single& the Whistler still spreading virus - then 2 - run homer to put Vandy ahead 6-5 instead of a tie game

I heard the announcers in the first game say you should never have the bat on your shoulder when the third strike is called on a ball in the strike zone. Sound familiar ?

Vandys team looks more like a foreign team. South American team than any college team I've ever seen play.

Kinda like that domican team that played in the Olympics. Big stocky, all look 25-30 years old. We need some muscle and stock like that.

they played absolutely served them well as the game wore on. Playing top level teams, while tough and hurts your record, really pays off in toughness and perseverance.
