So this guy majored in human development. The article states he met his Tinder date "Angie" (who was really a 40 year old man named Jerry) on April 10th and that they "engaged in sexual activity during their first encounter."
He then returned to Jerry's apartment on May 31st and discovered that Angie was Jerry. And that's when he murdered Jerry.
You're telling me the April 10th sexual activity didn't tip this guy off that Angie was Jerry? How is that possible? Is the VT Human Development program so bad that they didn't teach this dude the difference between boys and girls until that late in the Spring semester?!!? Really poor syllabus.

notice the subject, “human development,” conspicuously omits an object. Because humans are now intellectually free to develop into whatever they please (although physically governed by such oppressive external forces as, for example, nature), there is no measurable, achievable metric by which a human has “developed” into anything at all. The physical matter is inconsequential - what matters is what an individual declares itself to be.
Prisons are also oppressive external forces, as this wayward feller will discover.

The version of the story I read says authorities are still looking for two other Persons of Interest--who are also believed to be VaTech football players--who accompanied Etute to Angie/Jerry's home and were seen running away.
Either he was wanting to share his date with his friends, or he had suspicions about the oral sex he received the first time and wanted them to be part of the confrontation.
Also, what profession, condition or lifestyle must you have that impels cops to perform welfare checks?

My oldest son and him grew up playing football together and then high school football at Cox high school here in Virginia Beach. He really is a good kid, but made a really bad decision.
