I have a hard time being a fan of Nuk since he totally disrespects all that CLEMSON has done for him. I’m not sure what his problem is but he’s got a bad attitude

I remember the first time I saw him playing for Clemson....defender had a handful of his jersey and was trying to pull him down while the ball was in the air. Hopkins fought through it and made a catch. Might have only been for ten yards, but I was very impressed with his focus.

I also remember hearing one of our coaches being interviewed on WCCP discussing his recruitment out of high school. I think it was Jeff Scott. There was some debate on offering him a scholarship. Some on our staff weren’t sure about recruiting him because he didn’t have a good 40 time. He had to come in and prove himself capable. Turns out that he was one of the best to ever play for us....we should appreciate what he did for Clemson. I understand that he doesn’t hold his college years in high regard at the moment, but he’ll eventually come around. I’ll always be a big fan of his regardless of how he feels about his time here. Clemson did a lot for him and he did a lot for our program.

I have often noticed this on TNET...why begin the headline with: "former Clemson..."? (WR, DB, OL, ____ -- fill in the blank with player position and your own story). Is it for dramatic effect, click-bait, or what? Sometimes it seems appropriate; other times, it seems more logical to just name the person. Just asking.
