the 3x3 BB is fun to watch. They added a 2 point line and eliminated make it-take it, otherwise same game we played growing up. Too bad our mens team didn't qualify.

Too much politics and too little basketball.
They should have never let professionals play in the Olympics. That has always been my opinion, but I never thought it would come to this.

That is a far cry from today, when some players refuse an invitation to represent their country while others act like they are doing USA Basketball a favor by playing under such awful/racist/disadvantaged conditions.

as the NBA today is filled with international players that help make up some of these other Olympic teams. We can't mail it in. Other countries have national pride and would love to knock off big bad USA. Some countries may even hate The USA almost as much as our own players do.

I love the blank stare I get when I ask idiots on the left ……. If America is so bad and so racist and so sexist and so homophobic why don’t the successful people with money in those groups move to Europe or Asia or Australia or New Zealand or any of the other countries that they think are better than America. Why don’t these celebrities that have money live anywhere else?
Look at most of the rock icons from the 60s and 70s. Most of them have a house in America and spend most of their time here. It’s actually pretty mind blowing the number of English rockstars living and working in Nashville.
Why don’t rich black athletes retire outside of America?
I saw an interview about 10 years ago of Will Smith on a French news program. I think he was in Paris filming a movie. He told the interviewer that he felt his success was because he was born in America. He said he could not of accomplished what he has accomplished in life anywhere else in the world but America. And the interviewer mentioned that France has like a 70% tax rate and will smith said God bless America!

Income taxes in the US are MUCH lower than in Europe, like 20% vs 60%.
That's why all the European gold and tennis players switch to American citizenship.
