US ambassador to the UN didn't know Russia's nuclear

Feb 28, 2022, 10:00 AM

forces had been put on high alert when asked about it on "Meet the Press" yesterday.

I thought that was odd and a bad look. I would think she would have up-to-the-second updates on the Russia/Ukraine "situation".

We don't always say what we know.

Especially when it comes the things like Russia, Nukes and the media.

Putin had announced it publicly on Russian TV. It wasn't

Admittedly, I didn’t hear the question/response, but when someone tries to intimidate by making a lot of noise, it’s a common, and effective, tactic to pretend you don’t hear it.

It could be if all breathable air was being sucked up by a nuclear explosion;) Vladimir Putin should be, must be removed from power by his own Government in anyway necessary, in handcuffs, or in a body bag.

Putin has lost all logical thinking that a world leader should have with the nuclear arsenal that Russia has. His threatening words of nuclear weapons has every nuclear power around the world going into DEFCON 3 with that kind of crazy talk coming from the leader of a nuclear power that is always taking over his neighboring countries any time he gets bored!!! If I was the president of the US, would I silently have all of our nuclear powers armed and ready, you better believe I would, and I would start sending Missiles at everybody that was sending them our way until we didn't have another one to send!!! Vladimir Putin has lost it, and he should be removed from power with any means necessary to remove him, and quickly before he cause the destruction of the only world we have to live on!!!!

The MS Media is always trying to put out misinformation. What Putin actually said was he was putting his nuclear DEFENSE forces on high alert due to increasing hostilities towards Russia. The media wants you to think he is getting ready to fire missiles but that is not what he said. There is a big difference in the two

Yessir - I accidently misrepresented the precise action -

but still the ambassador learned that it had happened from Margaret Brennan.

(Another slight misrepresentation on my part - the show was Face the Nation) :)

Joeyb I was referring to the main stream media talking heads. THEY are the ones trying to make us believe Russia has an itchy finger on the nuke button and that is not the case. Fear mongering is big business with the media. Not many are showing the actual footage of what Putin actually said

There is a difference in the wording, but there isn't any difference in the destruction a nuclear war head will do to the population of either country. That word nuclear should never come from a leaders mouth even if that's what he was thinking, and you better believe that our leaders have taken his word of nuclear, regardless of how it was said, very seriously!!! And if they haven't, they need replacing, sooner, than later!!!

I THINK this is better reporting of what he said.

"Speaking at a meeting with his top officials, Putin told his defense minister and the chief of the military's General Staff to put the nuclear deterrent forces in a "special regime of combat duty."

No one really knows what "special regime of combat duty." means. I believe it was a way of saying try your sanctions and send aid, but you better not send any military forces.

Either way, from what I understand land based and subs are always on standby.

Vladimir Putin did make other threats that were seemingly a threat of nuclear power before he ever said the word nuclear!!! He could have been talking about a hyper sonic missile they have been working on, or it could have been about a 6th generation fighter jet that it's capabilities has never been proven. And I think that was just sword rattling bc of their fear of the US's YF-22 Raptor that they can't see on radar, with avionics like no other has ever been developed, and that has been proven in the gulf wars. Plus the F-16 that has never lost a dog fight, and it now has been beefed up to be a F-16 +++ with newer avionic than what was first used in the YF-22 Raptor. One thing that all Americans can trust and believe, America has the deadliest fighter planes in the world!!! Better than the Russian Sukhoi 35s, and better that China J-20, even though they like to brag that theirs is better, theirs have never been proven, ours has....;)
