Upset of a fast rising V Tech team that also won the ACC

Then barely lost to them in ACC tourney. Tigers lost by 2 at Cameron, which coach K said Hall was the "most improved player on the planet". He reminds me of Bill Walton, who was about the same size, and and his UCLA team played through him. Like Walton, Hall can score, pass, rebound, play d, and block shots. Mostly he can hustle, and is a team player and leader. Healthy, Hall should be all ACC and 2nd or 3rd team All American. Look for good things next year, esp. if Hall is healthy, Chase continues to improve to star status. Hunter hustles, plays well with Hall, and is a tough rebounder, and hits some 3s. He has gotten better every year, so he should be better. The 2 young big guys got better and better, and should be better. Hemingway, last year surprised with his vastly improved D, and got much better at driving to the the basket, as well as 3 pt. shooting. Hopefully, Al Amir will take on more responsibility with Honor gone and become a good consistent pt. guard and shooter. He was brilliant in spots, but having to rotate with Honor, may have affected his abilities? 2 of the recruits look like tough players that David Collins was last year.Hopefully, Brownell, can bring in tough portal players like he did last year. PLEASE DO NOT WRITE NEG. POSTS ABOUT BROWNELL AND THE TIGERS possible good portal players may just read them.

If I were a recruit I would be more alarmed by fans that celebrate 2 losses as "shining moments" than I would be by fans that are upset about not winning! I agree it is time to move on though, nothing is going to change at this point so let's hope for the best for next year.

If you were a highly ranked recruit why would you consider Clemson? Play for championships? Put guys in the league? Large NIL war chest? Great facilities?

The chance to be "the star" on the team, certain/extended playing time, if the coach has a style that accentuates my game, if I really liked the coaches or other players on the team, the opportunity to play in a premier league, great college environment, possibly because I really like the location/proximity to family that would come see me play, facilities that are comparable or better than many other schools, the knowledge that if I do shine at Clemson I would have professional opportunities.

Well for the last few months, people have been bragging about Purnell's greatest accomplishment..... losing to UNC in the ACC championship game.
I thought OT losses to the conference champion was a really good thing.????

Lol I haven’t seen that recently and think it is crazy to be “bragging” about that at this point, however there is a huge difference between being the runner up in the conference tournament and losing in the second round to the eventual champion. Finishing second should carry some degree of celebration I would say.

player next year. You are not good Tiger fans...Which one of you graduated from Clemson, I graduated in 1966, so have been watching bb for over 50 years. And this team had a lot of promise, and players got better over the years and year. Only 2 really talented BB players can make a really good team. With Hall healthy and Chase continuing to become a star, the Tigers could be really good. Quit your beetching...even if you are Clemson men, you are not good fans!

What do you think about Judge K constantly telling us we need better assistant coaches but can’t afford it? If recruits are making decisions based on message board posts…how inspiring do you think comments like that are?
Just curious.

The poster was simply thinking of our basketball coach during the basketball championship.
Perhaps you’re the one who is obsessed and negative.

Probably going on a win streak without his two best players. that really gave experience and confidence to middlebrookes and Schef that should pay dividends next year.

Yes, "should" because next season hasn't started yet, and we don't know what will actually happen. You can go with the half-empty (fully empty) approach.

For me, it was being in Charleston watching us blow a lead and putting 6 players on the court.

Riddle me this Batman, another player who contributed this season is gone, how's what Brad has coming back equal anything different from the past 12 seasons? So I guess either Neff or the Administration must think that firing Brad next year is better than now????
