Bringing ETN in when the D is tiring seems to be working well. I think that's a valid strategy.

Personally I love the way they use him. Keep his legs fresh until late in the game then turn him loose. Use Feaster and Choice for the dirty yards and to wear the defense down. Great coaching. It’s a long season, no need to wear him out

is simply not accurate. For some reason a lot of people seem to believe the coaches have intentionally done this just looking on the surface in the 3 games Travis has played. The reality is that he didn't play vs Aub and against Louisville and Kent State he was only in during garbage time. Against BC he didn't get meaningful snaps in the 4th quarter until Feaster and Choice got hurt on the same series and Fuller was in the doghouse for fumbling. He was put in as a last resort. You can't give the coaches credit for that.

Look, things have worked out well so far even though the coaches themselves have admitted that they haven't used him probably as much as they should have. Going forward I don't think you'll hear anymore about #FreeTravis if he starts getting 9-10 carries a game during more meaningful points of the game.

He is a freshman who probably does not know the playbook as well as the others. The coaches know what they are doing. It is like Feaster last year. Yes he is explosive but it is more than that. That said I love whe he gets the rock. He and Feaster are special. Choice has done great and Fuller is a grinder. We have 4 amazing backs that work well together. Keeps us fresh.
