Again...the ring is a Bowl Championship ring not a Conference Championship ring.

I agree completely that it was stupid for UNC to get rings for a "divisional championship" that no one actually recognizes but them...my comment was directed more towards mocking South Carolina's rings when Clemson got essentially the exact same ring this year.
And for the record I don't have a problem with South Carilina or Clemson getting rings...both teams had fantastic seasons which deserve to be recognized

a top ten opponent in the Chickfila bowl. SCU past two bowl wins have been over two Big 10 teams not ranked in the top 15, while the Big 10 is going through it's worst era of football by far ever.
Clemson beat LSU in it's bowl game this past season. Only time SCU has beaten LSU, was when LSU went 4-7 for the season.

Fedora is a good coach. He won eight games and did have some good talent to work with. This year he could hurt with lack of scholarships, he does not have Clemson facilities to work with but I see him doing ok. He needs a few years like any new coach does but will probably stay in the upper ranks of acc easily.
