UGA finished the year with a 25th overall offense In the nation

Jan 11, 2022, 8:12 PM

Clemson had a 100 overall rated offense in the country. Seeing how close the game was in September (13-6), one could only imagine what kind of damage we would have done to the Dawgs if we had an 89th rated offense!

I believe we would have beat them 48-13 with an 89 overall offense.

Wouldn't be enough difference to make a difference. A better question is would the result have been different when we had more experience?

College football is strange. I doubt that any Georgia fan

would tell you before last night that Stetson Bennett was a better QB than Jake from State Fromm was for them.

And yet, Rudy got it done, where Jake could not. And, Georgia had already won multiple recruiting Nattys (to hear them tell it, anyway) while Jake was there, so you can't say he didn't have similar talent around him.

College football is strange.
