Uber in Phoenix?

Did anyone use Uber to get to & from the game in Phoenix last year?
Contemplating doing Uber b/c with promo codes, it'll be cheaper than a $40 parking pass.
Did anyone do it last year? If so, is it hard to get one after the game?

I stayed by the airport because the hotels were much cheaper
It takes about 30-45 minutes to get to Glendale so it is not that close
If you have time and haven't been to the desert which I had not been you may want to visit the botanical gardens which is not far from the airport if you rent a car https://www.dbg.org/ but they charge to get in
didn't compare the cost of Uber vs car because you really need a car to get around but uber may work for you

Unless you are only going to game and leaving I wouldn't uber, rent a car. Downtown Phoenix is boring at best. Phoenix and the best restaurants/attractions are not close together. Rentals are cheap.

I mean, we're renting a car as well. I'm just not super happy about having to drop $53 for a parking pass, or $68 if I want it shipped to me. I guess I can possibly pay cash on the day of the game.

uber to game is easy, plenty of cars. Uber from stadium back to phx is a bit of a struggle just due to the high demand. Also be mindful of surge pricing

last year, the church across the street from the stadium offered game day parking for $30 and that included a hot dog supper for everyone in your party.

Then the next day we drove an hour out of town toward a Wilderness area (4 mountain??) and got intonthe thick of the real desert. Pretty cool. I'd say get a car too (or a jeep and take the top off like we did) We also stayed closer to the airport for a cheaper hotel. Hiked Camelback Mtn and checked out Scottsdale too. Good luck and have fun!!

Day of game parking last year 20$ super close to stadium. traffic is not bad at all, has several interstate exits where it's the only thing out there.

like many in this thread, stayed close to airport due to price and flight times. Getting to the game via Uber was great. Leaving the game, we decided to walk across the way where the hotels/bars/shopping area is, thinking we would get out of some of the after-game congestion. Wrong. We got an Uber, but sat in traffic for over an hour. It was crowded driving away from the stadium for a while too. I was really, really glad I was not driving in congested traffic on unfamiliar roads after the disappointing loss. Best money I ever spent. But, somebody in our group had a parking pass, so we had a spot to tailgate. And, we got there late the day before the game and left early the next day, so we didn't have time to use a rental car for other stuff. Took free hotel shuttle to/from airport.

Not hard driving, literally major interstate to the stadium. Very basic unless you haven't driven outside of Santee SC. It's a modern built city so designed on a basic grid block/avenue model. Drove to stadium parked and at our tailgate within 45 from walking out hotel. We hung out one hour after game, got in car and arrived back downtown within 45 no traffic at all. they are very used to moving traffic out on cardinal game days. Don't park by the hotels/ bars and you'll get out in 5min. The cash game day parking is nearest interestate anyway since it's a 5 block walk.
