Fortunately there are people in power who understand the interconnectedness of the world and the significance of an authoritarian regime, with nuclear weapons, invading a democratic country without provocation. Acts of imperialism have lead to world wars, I don’t expect you to understand any of this, but maybe you should do some reading.

I’ve been there twice. Really met some friendly people there. They are being dislocated. “Only 500” or so have died. What if that was my kid or yours, young girl that got killed. I also feel bad for the young conscripts from Russian military who have been killed and ones captured. War is ugly. Again why wouldn’t I care?
I suppose I care more about the people of the country then I do the country itself or the leaders.

No one needs guns. They should just call 911 if they are being attacked. I guess they can have 1 gun with a tiny magazine and limited ammo if they really feel they need to have it for self defense. But just a small caliber handgun. Statistically they’re more likely to kill someone by accident than they are a Russian soldier.
