That says that we're going to have another salty D in 2022 season. Now all we need is an offense that is as good at scoring TD's as we are at kicking field goals, and if that can someway happen, we're back in the playoffs with a great chance to win our 4th Natty. But I said that last season would be a Natty year, and look at how turned out with less than mediocre QB play. When I thought that last season was a Natty season, I was expecting the same QB that played in the BC, and the ND game during the 2020 season, but that dudes QB talent hit the portal leaving a 2 star QB behind that played like a border line walk on QB that couldn't start for SC state!!!!

Won't blame any of you for putting this post on immediate ignore because the of tired word "synergy."
But here goes anyways:
T.Davis helps his own NFL stock for 2022 by coming back, and it helps all of the others with NFL aspirations after the 2022 season (DT- B.Bresee / DE - M.Murphy / DE - KJ Henry / DE - J.Mascoll ... and maybe DT - R.Orhororo). T.Davis' presence helps with keepig the players fresh by (1) adding a high quality D-Tackle rotation -and- (2) with increasing the probability that the D overall will be playing fewer minutes per game ... i.e., more 3 and outs).
Of course, this helps the LBs and DBs as well.
Clemson could have a ridiculously high number of D-Linemen in the 2023 draft ... all 6 of the aforementioned players, with a reasonable expectation (presuming health for all) for 4 of them going in the first round.
I think that is a good example of 'synergy' ... OK, that's the cue to throw the rotten apples.

Question. I know this is a Tyler point thread and this Line takes pressure off the defense... But what are we going to do about corners? Should we pick up a starter from the portal? I saw Brent got 2 from it. The way I see it.
Dline - monster ?
Safety - monster ?
Linebackers - depth? Who can be our QB?
Corners - thin, lack experience, true freshman?

If there was a DB in portal that could start over what we already have, and if was a Clemson fit, and if wanted to be at Clemson.....then yes, Dabo would probably go for it. But that's a lot of ifs.

DL will be unstoppable next year. Depth is very important to everyone staying healthy. This feels very much like 2018. These boys need their own nickname - power rangers 2.0 just doesn't quite do it for me.
