Just to many fans there to support my team. I can understand how mistakes could be made. The noise from these ten supporters must have been unbearable.

8 more turnovers will get you beat but that's Bob Huggins defense. Like most teams, we are pretty good when we shoot well but are just average if we turn the ball over.

We did shoot the ball well…in possessions that actually ended in shots. Like you said, 20 turnovers is not going to get it done. Really disappointing performance in that tournament, and it’s going to be tough to make up for it.

I'm not going to panic yet. We were obviously ill. I know it counts in the records but tonight cannot be considered representative of our ability. We played a better game against the Bonnies than Marquette. You can make a case that, were we healthy, we're the 2nd best team in that tournament. We are thin and a major injury to any of our starters and our season is down the tubes. Better consistency out of our guards will be key. So far, those that said the guard from South Florida would be a big improvement over Clyde Trapp were wrong.

Being there, 1) it was a home game for WVU. Their fans were awesome (and annoying). Why in the world our Tigers had to deal with that for the last two games IN SC, I can’t explain. 2) I came to a conclusion FWIW. The angst and frustration I’ve felt all football season - play great then stink - is the feeling I’ve had about Clemson Basketball since I first visited Littlejohn in 1979 and certainly for the last 11 years. Tonight, I was so proud for a while. We were up by nine I think and I told my wife, this is not good…. We then went NINE possessions without a shot. Not one.
In any case Go Tigers!

In 1979 we never lost a home game and made it to the Elite 8. Surely you are talking about another year?

What comes 1st the chicken or the egg? If we want to see out basketball team rise to the level of football we have to support them that way. Aren't there enough Clemson fans in the Charleston area to fill up that gym? I went Thursday and Friday. (Then to Death Valley Saturday btw) Its a nice facility. Tickets affordable. Good teams involved. Why the heck didn't Clemson Nation show up for these guys? Ok.... Maybe because we played at 230 Thursday and 430 Friday? But 5:30 Sunday? C'mon man... Where we at Charleston? St. Bonnaventure, Marquette, and West Virginia (a football school) all showed up in big numbers. St. Bonnaventure fans are NUTS! and they drink A LOT of beer. LOL. Our coaches and players are good dudes...good people...and good players...playing team ball. Get behind these guys!!!

I'll tell you why people don't show up , they are frustrated with ten years of failing to perform under Brownell

Is making the NCAA Tournament last year and finishing in
Nov 22, 2021, 4:05 PM

the top 1/3rd of the ACC ahead of basketball powers like Duke, UNC, Louisville, and Syracuse failing to perform?
Please answer my question.
Detractors say that we should be among the upper echelon ACC teams and make NCAA Tournaments in order to generate fan interest. We did that last year. We were undefeated this year going into a tournament with good competition, in our home state no less, and there were few Clemson fans.
What gives?
