Tucker Israel...Spring game

I just looked at the spring game again.....It seems to me that when he plays the defense doesn't stack the line. Also seems there is a larger gap between defensive backs and receivers before ball is centered. I'm just wondering if defenses will fear his arm more and allow our running game to open up more.

He just needs to have his shot....I can see when a defense cheats( backs off receivers)in the defensive backfield because a QB is a target passer....our defense was cheating more on him than on the other QB's......his release is quick....and his side to side passes are accurate....

Never base "needs to have a shot" of the most important position on just a spring game. That's nothing but a split up, glorified scrimmage. Not one single side of the field for either team is made up of the entire 1's...you have 2nd string, 3rd string, sometimes scout sprinkled in. You don't want to base a QB's performance (good or bad) without seeing what he'd look like with the true 1st string...whether it be Isreal, Bryant, Cooper, or Johnson. If you stick the entire 1st string offensive line in there with the 1st string defensive line and LB's in there with each QB and then test, that's where the real test can be seen. Spring game? Just something for the fans...doesn't tell as much as you'd think of what the real picture will look like.

Is it safe to say we will have the greatest 5th string qb in college football history. Im not even being at all sarcastic, because its either Tucker or Chase Brice and both of them are incredibly talented.
