Mar 4, 2021, 3:40 PM

a few hours later into the brightest sun I'd ever seen. Felt like exiting a cave.

Used to go in there when they had a special, Fridays at noon I think it was 25 cents for a pitcher of Natty, going up 25 center every hour until it reached full price. Got there around noon, got that first pitcher started, and me and a buddy could play Gauntlet for hours on one quarter each. Because we were geeks and figured out the stupid rules the monsters followed.

Sometimes we would skip Harcomb and just eat popcorn at TTT, and for desert we would go to Sloan Street Taproot for boild peanuts. I loved the early 80s.

Back in the good ole days when all they served was beer and more beer. I remember after my final exam in Bio Chem going to the used book store to sell my textbook then straight to TTT. We had it made!!

Remember how your shoes would stick to the floor. Wait, they still do.

I was at Clemson in the mid 90s and Charlie T's (where the Abernathy is now) had 2$ dozen wings and dollar drafts for Monday night football.
