True story regarding USuck.

Back in the Summer, we had some new neighbors move into our hood from the state of Maine. I went over and met the couple, nice folks and they seemed to be very happy to be out of the Northeast. We talked a little about the area, things to do, etc. The subject of college football came up and I of course discussed Clemson and our rivalry with the capons. Just small talk, nothing came of it, and we parted ways.
Fast forward to a couple of weeks ago. I ran into the couple in downtown Greenville, and I noticed the husband was wearing an awesome Block C hat (orange with the purple letter). So, of course I asked him, "I didn't know you were a Clemson fan".
Long story shorter, he proceeds to tell me the guys in his office told him he had to pick a side, and there was pressure to commit one way or the other. He attended a home game for both teams, tailgated, etc., and obviously Clemson was head and shoulders above South Carolina in every way. But, there was an underlying factor which was much simpler than that. My new friends exact words were "as a man, I JUST COULDN'T BRING MYSELF TO SAY GO #####, and my wife also found it embarrassing." So, there you have it.

They are a propaganda machine these days , and it won't let up anytime soon. They have had baseball and football success in the last 6 years so they are cashing in and advertising every whichaway they can .
I wish Clemson would get a little more in tune with that media battle ...especially the one on the highways around this state. So tired of seeing the smashed chicken logo and their ugly ### colors everywhere you look.

Moved back to Maine and her son got sent home from school for wearing a cap with "#####" on it. She never was too bright.
