True freshmen that you are most impressed with.

Nov 8, 2015, 3:32 PM

For me it is Hyatt. It's hard as hell to start on a blindside against 3 and 4 year starters. Cain would be my runner up and may be further along than Nuk was as a freshman. Wilkins is going to be in offensive coordinators dreams for a long time. Hope RRM3 gets back on the field soon!

Yep Hyatt Cain and Wilkins...

Nov 8, 2015, 3:35 PM

..no doubt. Cain may still grow a little more and thicken up some.

Ray Ray still seems a little smallish to me and thus a little vulnerable...we'll see.

We've hit on a lot of recruits, I love how the true freshman get after it...my choice is the DT Wilkins (sp)....another guy who the get the ball but blocks hard when he's in is G. Williams... I think hes a baller and his time is coming bc he sticks his nose in it

Watching Wilkins obliterate a receiver yesterday kind of cinched it for me. That looked almost unfair...My Word is Wilkins quick for such a big guy, and the FSU receiver looked like he'd been hit by a truck.

The #1 overall pick in the draft in a couple years? If he keeps progressing, yeah. Cain, McCloud, and Hyatt are special...but wow on Wilkins. You just don't see defensive linemen doing stuff like that.

Amen to Wilkins. Will be a part of a stifling interior presence for years to come...then years beyond Clemson as well. He'll bulk up this offseason and be a straight up bull next year.

All of those mentioned have played really well, but I believe Hyatt by far. How many times have we heard his name/number for mistakes? He hasn't been shown for 6 pancakes a game, but he hasn't been called out for "Olè" blocks, false starts, or holds. At least none that I can recall. I often forget that he's out there

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

All of em! But Cain, Wilkins and Hyatt stand

Out... Coaches have done a great job with them.

Loaded. Redshirting Ferrell too. He's gonna be a beast and we will need him too since Shaq will be off to the 1st round of the draft next year

Wilkins for sure. Another "fridge"-like talent. We all kind of expected Hyatt to play, but Wilkins has shocked me the most.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Hyatt and Wilkins- most impact, Hugel too. Cain has the most upside.***

Amazing how many people are over looking Bryant. He is going to be a monster strong side DE. Hyatt and Wilkins are the obvious answers with Cain and Ray Ray as the honorable mentions. Smith is for real just hasn't had enough snaps and other guys will emerge next year like fields and Huggins.

I'm impressed with everyone of them. Everyone mentioned

already have played great but we have others that have played less that make you grab a program to see who is wearing that number when they make a good play. Also appreciate the freshmen redshirts that are helping in practice to prepare Tiger team each week. Total team effort by ALL the players and coaches and making the Tiger family proud!!
