He has every reason to come to Clemson. If he doesn’t it wasn’t meant to be. Clemson will be fine.

against a strong LSU headwind. I lived in Louisiana for a time and much like Georgia and UGA, Louisiana is essentially a one football college state. Just about every Louisiana kid that dreams of playing football wants to play for LSU. Heck we probably would never have gotten Travis Etienne if LSU had not been stupid enough to balk on him.

Our biggest advantage right now is that Dabo has a great relationship with the Etienne family and they know he will take care of their son and set him up for success in life. Whether that outweighs the LSU fandom headwinds and the other issues (living in his brothers shadow at Clemson, competing against Shipley, Pace, and Maffah) is anyone's guess.

The reason I brought this up is there is a good chance Kelly will get LSU cleaned up fairly quickly. LSU had a 1000 yard rusher in Junior Tyrion Davis-Price but they fall off quickly at RB from there. The RB room would be his for the taking. And as you mentioned he is a Louisiana kid and has probably dreamed of playing for LSU most of his life.

I’m sure Clemson is still in the mix because they run a balanced offense that gives running backs a chance to get to the next level. But Clemson has several good backs already so the competition for playing time would be more fierce.

I live in the state of Louisiana and heavens help that boy if he picks lsu! I just don't care who the coach is, the school is a huge sh t hole. They would use,abuse and wash their hands of him. I hope to high heavens he picks the REAL TIGER AND THE REAL DEATH VALLEY. I would understand not taking Clemson as he is going to have big expectation following his bother. If not Clemson, I would rather see him at the dirt peckers- now that shows how I really feel about the faux tiger.
