Dabo has his in-home visit at Trevor’s house today. Spiller is supposed to be there to and I’m not sure about others. Fingers crossed that it goes great. He may not like seeing all of our returning rbs on the depth chart but I’d sure like to get him and think he’d still get playing time as a freshman.

With Shipley, Pace and Mafah all showing flashes of being special talents so early - I could see him being intimidated about coming. Besides that - would he be living in his brothers shadow here?
I would love to get him too!
It would surprise me if he were to choose us; unless Travis did a whale of sales job! Have my fingers and left toe crossed we get him though!

I hope we get him too. Love it when we get players from same family. Had brothers Perry, Swinney, Vernables, Herbstreit lets add Entienne family too

let alone 4. Don't like our chances here or with any highly rated RB due to that. We may get an RB but one we'd look to redshirt

Big. Big. Big. Want. He adds something different to the RB room. His pass catching is so fluid and he attacks the ball in the air better then a lot of WR.

I think he'd immediately start at KR and PR. He's not the fastest guy on the team, but his vision is incredible, and he catches the ball really well.
I'd love to see him used as a passing down back early. I think we have better pure runners, but he's someone who could easily run routes out of the backfield or even motioned out of the slot. Obviously, pass-blocking is always a concern for true FR, but I think he could definitely have a role early.

Also has very similar balance to his brother and rarely goes down on first contact. Cannot find the video from the camp he dominated the RB vs LB pass catching drills.

Spiller has developed talent quickly. The only issue is if someone wants to be the featured back on day one.

True if you want to be featured back don't come to Clemson. Dabo likes the open office and spread around the ball. Travis had alot of Clemson and ACC records even with playing usually only half a game.

give us two big backs and two smaller shiftier backs with great vision. Shipley has got to prove he can stay healthy, which, with his running style for his size could be difficult.
I expect we will become a more run heavy play action team with our QB situation, not to mention our wide receivers being a bit injury prone as well.
