Tnet never cared for this 2021 QB assessment, but Dilfer's not wrong.

Dilfer was just stating the obvious. Many of us said the same things. I think Clemson did a poor job of evaluating DJ as a talent and as a fit for our offense.

Maybe but from FR year to this year, he has gotten worse as in no improvement.

That is all on coaching aka development.

It is NOT all on DJ.

It's never all on one player, but DJ is the bulk majority of the problem and creates many of the other issues. He was bad fundamentally as a freshmen too if we are being honest go look at his OT int that was a flash of the 2021 season to come. Dear in the headlights and bad footwork.

I chalked it up to Tony Elliot and shoulder injury in the ND and BC game. He looked average throwing vs BC too as a freshmen. Thought the flashes of greatness were a sign of good things coming and assumed he'd develop and improve. Well low and behold he never got better.

He’s not wrong. DW4, Tlaw, and DJ have all regressed. Brandon Streeter is the problem.
