More than likely, but he will just be a freshman. They may be good in a couple of years. They have the top OT in the nation committed as well. They have a true freshman QB now who was highly regarded. They might be pretty good in a couple of years. They definitely need to upgrade their OL and DL. SOunds like they are doing it. I don't see them playing for a national title while he is there though.

Maybe Mac retires and that prompts Shaw to hop over to one of the most stable staffs / programs in the country (Clemson).

I don't see Mac retiring. He may not know what year it is and he's wearing what appears to be a garbage bag tonight, but much like Jeremy Bentham at UCL, they are going to wheel his carcass out for as long as possible.

Also, the tarholes in the room with me right now seem to think they’ll fire their DCoordinator.
So, Travis has gotta think bout if he wants to live a few years w that kinda instability or if he wants to be coached by one of the most stable staffs / programs in the country.

Anybody that would choose to play football at UNC instead of here has some serious judgment issues. Even if Mack quit, the defensive coordinator got fired and all of his phantom classes were canceled he would probably make another terrible decision and transfer anywhere but here.

Shaw was probably one of the recruits I was most excited about earlier this year! Think he is Dexter/Wilkins level! Never can have too many of those types of DTs!

UNC and USC have that in common….both are very good at turning 5 stars into 2.5 stars and giving them a shot at winnings the no name bowls if they are really really lucky!
