Dawgettes to tie in the 6th, and then the leadoff runner getting on proved to eventually be the walkoff in the 7th.

We got spoiled last year by the Lady Tigers winning just about all these close games. It's a cliche', but, we aren't "sneaking up on anybody" this year.

Learn from it, and use those lessons later on in the season.

Big important games coming up no doubt,at 1-5 in the conference currently the Tigers need to win these next 3 ACC series against Louisville,North Carolina and Pittsburgh prior to Notre Dame and Florida State

Tigers are a good, not great, team, but still a very young program. The pitching is solid but the hitting is not at a championship level and that's what is/will hold them back against the better teams. Because of their hitting deficiencies, their defense has to be 100% to win these type games.

Again, they are just getting started as a program and should improve as their recruiting improves, all about the players at this level.

I'm sure Cagle is disappointed but she pitched a great game. With their offensive challenges they have to have great pitching and defense against good teams to have a chance. The pitchers and catchers will have to carry them.
