Total Domination! I hope some Tiger fans will reconsider

heading back to Death Valley South in the future. Sister and Mom have both said they'd never enter that stadium again, and I've heard or read countless Clemson fans say the same thing. True, the place is a dump. Warehouses and asphalt are a stark contrast to God's Country and their fans can get obnoxious. But to this long time Tiger fan, there is nothing quite like strolling down those dang ramps after yet another Tiger victory. Singing the alma mater with an empty stadium minus a pocket of orange in the corners is something to behold.
Last night was my 11 Clemson-Chicken game in Williams Brice. A caveat, my record in Billy B is 9-2. Those two were rough, I won't deny that and Ive been very fortunate. I have and will continue to say there is no better place to watch Clemson win a football game, and no worse place when we fall short. But the lifelong memories of Emory Smiths drag, 63-17, Whitehurst first down, Buchholz kick, and 102-13 cumulative score over our last three trips make up for it all.
Last night ranked up there as one of my favorites. Chickens behind us started bellyaching about our easy ACC schedule. Bama was one of their first retorts, but I was quick on the draw and responded I believe we both play the Tide more and have more wins against them than SCAR. I saw a fully decked out LSU fan, a few Georgia hats, couple of Aubun and of course the Crimson ##### were all in full force.
This one was a little extra special because the first time in a half dozen years, our feathered friends came in with hope. Seems like the vibe I got around tigernet was a little nervousness and apprehension, Beamer had nothing to lose and since they had already surpassed expectations and anything else was gravy. Bath towels waving, Cocky getting out of the shower, and 2001 Elvis into led to a silent stadium and a mass exodus later on in the game.
Shattering their hope, same ole excuses, and stark reality of a compete being out of our league the worst season Clemson has had since '14. I credit Beamer, and would have lost money if I'd had bet we'd be seeing the Chickens in postseason play. Reality is so hard for them to accept. Last night proved the gap between the programs is vast, even with a "good" season for them and a disappointing season for our Tigers.
I challenge all Tiger fans to suck it up and support our Tigers no matter the venue. You will be blessed just observing their fans. Clinging to the SEC is all they have. Most will leave you alone if you mind your business, but eavesdropping on their conversations is priceless. Seemed last night was the least amount of Clemson fans I'd seen, I hope everyone will consider showing up in 2023 to support our Tigers and Collect the rent.
GO TIGERS!

They truly are some lowly fans. Nauseating to even be around them. For some unknown reason, they think they are relevant in the football world.

one as a student and two when invited to sit in a coot box for free (not so bad - saw the governor and Tommy Lasorda pass by) but those days are over- my recliner is becoming more comfortable as I gain each year. Gonna stick to the home games until mobility decides otherwise.

Probably been there almost ten times myself. I have only experienced one loss that I can remember (the year CJ ran back the opening kick-off).
I was there for the drag, the great comeback with Priester, the 45-0 game, the 62-17 game where a chicken fan was chanting "Let's fire Bowden" at the top of his lungs until about mid-1st quarter, and one game where I met the family of Syvelle Newton (nice folks btw).
Yeah, whenever I am in town I will go again. My uncle is cool despite being a chicken fan and I usually go with him then bragging all night. He's such a good sport!

I am from a small town in the upper middle of the state. I noticed the people who never attended college or less are always avid Gamecock fans. After my LAST ,and never again, trip to Willie B, years ago, I can say that this Clemson fan understands WELL why this connection exists. ie. If your SAT is less than 1200...why apply to Clemson. Just become another jilted Clemson hater, join, the red necks and go to Carolina.

is good for perspective. Done it five times myself (1977, 1989, 1995, 1997, & 1999).
Each time that you enter the Aluminum Bowl to witness the suffering of the less fortunate & the ignorant (and I'll never get over the stupidity of the U.of S.Carolina mascot ... a CHICKEN ... OMG, talk about no self-respect!), experience the DooDoo ice, and watch their fans wave toilet paper in delusional expectations that THIS YEAR is finally NEXT YEAR, then you'll thank the Good Lord again that you aren't one of them.
The Clemson Tigers are also patient teachers ... we keep trying to show them how football is supposed to be played. The ShaneCocks are very very slow learners, but us Tigers keep giving them lessons.
