If Tony gets the UVA or Duke jobs and Brent goes to Okla… who would you try to get?
I think Lebby at Ole Miss is probably a pipe dream. Joe Brady may be tough but he is jobless.
I think the DC is extremely important. I’d go hard after Macdonald at Michigan. Doubt he enjoys working for Harbaugh. Young guy and from Roswell Ga. has NFL experience.

I don’t think Lenny is a pope dream. There’s talk about him going to OU, and let’s be honest, put our program next to OU’s, and who’s any reasonable coach going to choose? Having said that, I like Brady more.
DC, I think you inquire to every top DC out there and make them tell you no. We clearly pay the best, and it’s not like we’re short on talent. This is a dream job.

Brady has said publicly he doesnt like to recruit and will never go back to college. Well...he is without a job now. But why would you hire someone with that mentality.

I like Joe Brady and Bronco Mendenhall ... but I am flexible recognizing time is of the essence. Some, like Brady, will not be unemployed long.

I dont like Brady, for reasons mentioned above, but i love Hobby as DC. That is why he left in the first place. He wanted the DC job.

There will be multiple candidates released from NFL gigs at years end or just prior. Seems like Bill O'Brien has worked out quite well for Bama. They lost 8 starters from last years offense and just dropped 441 yards passing on the Dogs. So they started from scratch and now their on the doorstep again. Why do we need a hire this moment? The bowl is meaningless and Dabo can sell the recruits on the vision. We have the opportunity to get almost anyone we wish if they are being let go in the NFL or anyone else that is currently a coordinator at a school outside the top ten. An unlimited coaching budget is something very few have but that's what our spend has been to this point.

don't know about OC but for DC Ted Roof who is a defensive analyst on staff at clemson or Zac Alley defensive coordinator at UL monroe who was mentored by Brent Venables
