Top 5 Favorite Clemson Home Games

I will never forget the Clemson vs UGA game in 2013. Walking to the stadium you could literally feel the electricity in the air. The long Sammy Watkins touchdown right after the long Todd Gurley touchdown was such an awesome moment for me. The Stadium was rocking all night and the atmosphere was the best I have ever experienced. If I had a top 5 it would probably be these though.
1. Clemson vs UGA 2013
2. Clemson vs Notre Dame 2015
3. Clemson vs South Carolina 2016 (56-7)
4. Clemson vs North Carolina State 2016 (the one where they missed the field goal)
5. Clemson vs South Carolina 2014 (breaking the streak on a DW4 torn ACL)
Some honorable mention MOMENTS are the Deshaun Watson hurdle that is the best hurdle I have ever seen, and Wayne Gallman Trucking the App. State player for a touchdown after he late hit face-masked Deshaun Watson out of bounds a few plays earlier.
I know a few great ones are missing but I was not able to go to all the games because of high school and college through 2013-2020.

September 27, 1958 with Chester Scout Troop 73 (my first ever game). TIGERS over UNCheat 26-21.
Frank Howard was the coach. Harvey White was the QB.

I'm not sure what the first game I went to was, but my first memory of a game is being at the game vs TCU several years ago. Don't remember much about it but I think it was a cloudy day and they had Andy Dalton at QB. We also lost the game I think.

This was an underrated home game that I don't feel enough people talk about. DW4 vs. Lamar. Louisville riding the hype train. Packed stadium. Great finish!

1987 Georgia game is the one I wish I was at. Can’t imagine what that was like!

Syracuse 2018 was a wild game. Honorable mention. Felt like the crowd willed the team to victory after Trevor went out.

1- Breaking Auburn's winning streak at Death Valley baby. Tajh Boyd was cool...cool...cool.
The break out party for Sammy Watkins.
2- Deshaun Watson and Clemson against Lamar Jackson and Louisville. An intense game especially at the end......with Edmonds knocking the guy out of bounds to prevent Louisville from getting another set of downs deep in our own territory.
3- Standing up to Georgia even after they had to take a peek.
4- Re-owning Chickenlina....reclaiming the state of South Carolina by having Mike Williams carrying a chicken on his back into the endzone.
5- Florida State comes to Death Valley on the very first game of that season?? It was like the perfect 9 course meal awaiting a person. Clemson definitely put a shock to their mystique that night.

Honorable mentions....
Thunder and Lightning come alive in all purple against Georgia Tech. Defense shuts down the would be Megatron completely.
Showing Texas A&M a hot time. Kellen Mond definitely had a case of Tiger Heat Stroke.

That’s a great list. I agree 2013 game was electric. I will say a couple a great games that we lost come to mind for an old guy. Montana leading ND to beat us in 1977 and the Puntruskie game with FSU.
