I had the pleasure of attending that one and the '89 Gator Bowl against WVU. Both are great memories.

As for tonight's game, I recognize it marks the return of Clemson to the national spotlight and was a strong showing against a respected program, but it was too dominating to be fun given that Ok isn't a rival. I loved the "edge of your seat" aspect of the LSU game in that it made me feel as though the win had been thoroughly earned. Tonight was great, but it became clear that our margin of victory had a such to do with Ok screwing up as us doing well. And in this regard, it feels a bit less like a victory and more like we were just taking care of business. It is a good thing. The kind of thing a powerful team should do, but it wasn't as sweet outside of Stoudt's redemption - man I was pulling for that guy.

The Tenn. Game in 03 was a great bowl win for the tigers. I was at that game. Parked right beside Tenn. fans and they were running there mouth before the game about how they were going to whip us. Talking sec bullcrap... They had some strong drink made in the hills. They said to be sure we came back to party with them after the game. For some reason after the game , they were gone. That bowl win is very close to my top 5. It just may need to be in there.
