I'm not that big on hypothetical questions, but what if we had kept Press Maravich as coach for a little longer. Would've loved to see Pistol Pete as a Clemson Tiger

Still cannot forget the memories of playing pick-up basketball with him at the Ole Clemson YMCA late on Friday and Saturday evenings, many times even after Pete had played in a Daniel High game earlier - against team rules....He was a true gym rat!!!!

As I remember it Press left NC State for LSU Pete's senior year. Word was that Pete couldn't qualify to play in the ACC under the 750 rule on college boards.
