Too much swagger?

Oct 17, 2016, 1:18 PM

Fumbles lost has in part due to too much swagger? Confidence that we can hold ball loose,,try one too many, jukes, or we can drop it a yard short to,start the celebration, or to believe win was more our toughness/culture than just Sheer luck. Yes,,luck, goes both ways, like, catman miss at auburn, but it is primarily luck.

That said, we have enough to beat fsu, must be error free or max 1 turnover.

I think it has to do with the number of playmakers and depth in the skill positions. The guys are probably pressing each play to make the big play since they have reduced reps.

I don't agree with either point......

I don't thinks its too much swagger or the threat of guys pushing from behind. I think guys are trying to make plays and when you are spinning and juking its natural to use your arms to maintain balance and guys get a little loose with the ball. Also the defense is taught to hold the guys up and rip at the ball ie; Dye's fumble at the goal line. Too, guys seem to be forgetting the core values of ball possession and thats when in traffic 2 hands on the ball. I believe all those guys are strong but I don't care who you are most of the time if you got the ball with 1 arm and have 2, 4, 6 arms trying to rip it out its only a matter of time before they get the ball out. So too me its more with a lack of focus, attention to details and knowing the moment and position you are in at that very second.
