Are you referring to the veteran who was illegally trespassing with a backpack (contents unknown at the time) to go after our congressmen? This veteran should have been allowed to continue on?

Well, yeah. That's how it works. The officer was forced to make a snap judgment - defend his charges, or possibly watch his charges die at the hands of the person he killed. It's cruel, it's hard, and guess what, it's how the real world works sometimes.
Guess who forced that decision? The woman the officer killed.
The officer wasn't charged. In the eyes of authority, the officer made the right call. I'd agree. That woman had an angry mob behind her; she could not be allowed to breach that chamber. If she'd have gotten in she'd have brought the mob with her.
The real world is often ugly, and "judgments" often come fast, hard, and right there on the street or wherever it is the crime or violent action goes down. Like it or not.

I was playing devils advocate. I agree with the officer. Just tired of the hypocrisy. There is almost ALWAYS a snap judgment.

They take random city samplings, which doesn't mean it's necessarily inaccurate, but it doesn't paint the full picture that the FBI will once they have the data from everywhere.
