He needs to be replaced ASAP….we have played 3 sorry teams which should have been dominated by our Dline……he is in over his head IMO….go ahead sunshine pump if you want but our defense performances have been an average if D-

A lot was said about the Nick Eason hire. Where do you think he fits into all of this. He does coach the D line? Just asking.

Nick is brand new….Goodwin has been in the program a while and was just given the job without a

I think Nick Eason and his recruiting prowess has been great for Clemson. I also think, availability of players like Bresee, Davis, XT, Mascol, Tre Williams along the DL can't be dismissed. We are deep there - but we played the team in college football that had the most experienced OL in all of college football. Meaning, we didn't play chopped liver yesterday!
To this point in the season; I think the DL has played well. Not 100% what most envisioned in terms of cominance - but not bad. We are up there in terms of TFL's still.

I have not looked it up but my guess is most of our pressures and sacks last year came from blitzes by our backers and D backs. I agree partially about the first 3 games but we really dominated those games and for various reasons played a ton of people. When you are playing 2nd and 3rd team defensive backs against good QBs you have a reason to not blitz. I never bought the idea that this would a great defensive team because of how inexperienced we are but we are 4-0 so who cares?
