Eh, the Bengals were only up because Tee got away with slinging their corner down by his facemask earlier. It evened it up. The Bengals had a really good front 7 tonight, but everywhere else they weren't very good. Burrow was terrible outside of the two deep balls.

I would say Tee getting away with that one evened up from earlier when Ramsey was actually holding Tee in the endzone in the 1st qtr and no flag.

Guess you're a liar then. Because it was pretty obvious on Cincy's first scoring drive.

As I said, BS. And you're the first person to mention it. But if Cincy scored, you can't exactly say the touchdown that should have been called back was okay.

The announcers literally talked about it when it happened. Then they said "Guess they're going to 'let them play'"

Does not matter DeafO. The game is history. But Collinsworth alluded to hold on Higgins in endzone. Ramsey grabbed him by waist towel. You missed it. No need to be incorrectly indignant.

But I got be honest, I think Cinn secondary got away with several PI no calls during the night. They were having trouble stopping the Rams, and their defenders were riding all on LA's receivers backs some of the game. Honestly, looked a couple of times like they wanted a piggy back ride.

and allow them to play all game with no flags..then dont call a flag in an important moment of the drive that isnt a flag...nfl refs do very little to quell those saying its rigged..was like a story book drive for the rams in their home stadium

I don't agree. Just because you miss one flagrant foul, doesn't mean you shouldn't call the next potential foul (I think it shouldn't have been called, but it was arguable). But I'm not mad about it, because Tee should not have been given that touchdown and the better team won. Not that I like either of them. Don't like LA and #### Burrow, Chase, Ohio, and everyone from there.

Which terrible call? The missed call - offensive interference grab of face mask by Tee Higgins? Love Tee, but that could have been the play that caused LA to lose. And that would have been a travesty..

Agreed. Tee was the man for us. But that was almost the game decider. And it was ridiculous that the refs missed such a flagrant facemask. Not a good officiating crew.

Those types of calls are made in every FB game played from HS, college, to the NFL, they are part of the game. But it do seem like bad calls could be reversed to make the game fair for both teams!!!

That would be fair. If you could review and retroactively make penalties or take them away, and you take away Tee's touchdown and reverse that PI, the game would be fair.

Whether or not Tee had a facemask or not on Ramsey is irrelevant. The refs set the tone for the game by not calling anything and letting guys play - that's fine, but then at the end you can't decide to start throwing a flag for a ticky tack hold. Either you call the game tight all game, or loose the whole game, don't switch it up when a team is going for a game winning touchdown. Absolutely ruined the ending for me.

From ESPN:
That's a long way of saying there was not a single flag for a "judgment" foul such as holding, pass interference and, yes, pulling a face mask. Keep in mind that Torbert's crew didn't throw a flag when Ramsey grabbed Higgins' jersey on a third-down incompletion at the goal line in the first quarter, leaving the Bengals to kick a 29-yard field goal. Based on the way the first half was called, both teams were well-advised to ramp up the aggression in the second half, and Higgins did just that. In every game, officials must judge whether contact with a player's face mask is "forcible," as required by the rule book. Because officials are human, interpretations can vary.
We have absolutely seen a flag for instances comparable to what Higgins did Sunday. But Torbert's crew, to that point at least, had clearly not been looking to insert itself into the game. It's up to players on both sides to adjust.

I think that's a terrible philosophy. The Bengals were only up in the first place because of a flagrant personal foul. So you're consistent when they commit another possible foul and let them get away with the win? I don't think it's irrelevant at all. The refs didn't decide the game. The Bengals had a chance to stop LA, they couldn't. And then Burrow couldn't move the ball down the field, as he couldn't outside of the two deep balls (which again, the longer one was because of a personal foul).

That phantom holding call was huge. Would have been 4th & goal from the 8 with a chance at a goal line stop. Instead, it's 1st & goal at the 4. We didn't get a chance to see if the Bengals could stop LA.

It was first and goal on the 5. Sounds like they had 4 chances to stop them there. Instead, the immediately commit another foul that guaranteed a loss.

by the way the rest of the game was called. Guess you keep missing the point. And the Rams got 7 plays inside the 10 to score that TD. Who couldn't score with 1st and goal 3 times?

It was only a terrible call if you were a Bengal fan. But in all honesty both teams were hurt by either a bad call or a no-call.

The refs were no calling apparent PIs and other stuff the whole game until the end. So why start the flags flying in the last 2 minutes with the Rams knocking on the door? Kind of plays into a good conspiracy theory.

There were multiple bad calls. Might be the worst refs in a superbowl in recent memory.

On the other hand, Tee's 2nd TD should have been an offensive penalty.

I am just wondering what happened to Higgins? He was targeted 7 times four catches for 100 yards- then I seemed like he went out of the game. Like I say I didn't watch - so I don't know.

It wasn’t a good game anyway, IMO. At least the horrible refs give people something to ##### about, I guess.
