Tonights Basketball game

Im no Brownell supporter by fathomable imagination but hey, we are still playing, the lights will be on in LJC. I wish I could make it to the game tonight but I will be as close to the tv as I can tonight. Spot the #### ball and lets win this whole dern thing! I hope BrowneLL makes me eat crow

For the players sake,it's a time to get better and improve for next year. The NIT is unimportant in basketball title terms. I just don't want Drad to reward Brownell with a big extension for winning the equivalent of an Independence Bowl. I hope the kids win but Brownell is not rewarded for it.

I am a Clemson man. I just don't have blind loyalty to coaches like some on here. Tommy Bowden had his fan club. Those fans did not care that tiger football needed a culture change. They loved Bowden more. Would we all agree that the change was good for the program? Leggett fans were the same way. Now it's Brownell. I'm hearing the same things said about Brownell that were said about Bowden. He's a nice guy. He gets good kids and his players graduate from Clemson. What about the key reason? Wins and losses! NCAA tournament bids! That's the measuring stick for basketball coaches. The basketball program is bigger than an arrogant coach.

I agree with you. A long run or a possible win would be great momentum/confidence for next year. It could possible get us over that hump of losing in tight games down the stretch. These next games will be good for more chemistry for Thomas/Mitchell/Reed which we all now have a bright future.

That arrogance displayed by Brownell in that press conference is not earning him any support. He sounds like Jack Leggett. I feel sorry for the players. They deserve better. Let's hope the struggling players like Grantham finally wake up.
