You were very close P Gun. Very few people get the Sport Coupe part, but it's a '56. ZZ350 crate motor, 700r-4 trans, 12 inches of rubber on each side, mini-tubbed.

Thanks for the up-date. It's hard to tell without seeing a little more of the rear end. A lot of people don't realize that the 55, 56, and the 57 have a multitude of interchangeable parts and were as I remember built on the same frame. I see the hood is raised, I hope nothing is wrong and you get to take her out for a spin today before you take a snort! Happy B Day!

Henry McKenna has won a bunch of awards since 2018. It is my favorite cheaper 1/2 gal bourbon. I drink it for my weekly drinker. It is better than the lower tier bourbons and the aged stuff has won lots of awards recently. But offer me Evan W., Ezra B, Beam, Turkey, Early Times, etc., and while I will drink these I definitely prefer Henry McKenna.
But the aged McKenna is pretty good. It is very hard to find. Actually all the Heaven Hills liquors are very hard to get nowadays. Their staff went on strike, they were short staffed to start, now there is a shortage of glass bottles due to labor so finding any McKenna is hard right now.

I also have/drink Makers, EW, and 4 Roses. Neat. But the Beam and others, if there’s none of my favorites, I’ll drink it, but on the rocks. Since a fifth will typically last me a month or more - when I drink alone - I’m okay with spending up to $40-$50 a bottle, but beyond that, WR and BH are just fine, for me!
Damb, all this bourbon thinking has me feeling like a birthday toast may be sooner, rather than later today….

Happy Happy - I am a few months older. Prefer beer, but have a liquor "collection". I like the ones in fancy, interesting bottles. I believe when the grid goes down and zombies run the land, a bottle of good booze will be worth more than gold.

Happy Happy Birthday!!! Is that your 56 Chevy, if it is, looks good, if it's not, it still looks good, but, I would change that color, and I think you know why I say that.
I don't really remember the colors that you could get in that year other than the yellow & white, tar hole blue & white, and I think it was black & white. But if the engine/transmission part numbers don't match, that Chevy would look absolutely awesome in the Clemson Orange and white.
But if all the engine/transmission numbers do match what the serial number indicates that particular car came with, that is what it would be if it were mine bc, you could about name your price if you ever wanted to sell. I had a 55, and a 56, and the engine/transmission numbers didn't match the serial number, so I put a 427 big block, with the T-10 BorgWarner 4-speed transmission in them both. I went with the T-10 transmission bc you could speed shift it without using the clutch, I just had to like pat the gas one quick time when speed shifting. You could do the same with the Muncie 4-speed also, but it would sometimes hang up between two gears, and it was a pain in the butt to unhang them.
