2 Alabama beat unranked miss state 31-7
3 Ohio state beat unranked Illinois 28-3
4 Notre dame beat unranked wake forest 28-17
5 Iowa beat unranked Minnesota 40-35
6 Baylor lost to 12 Oklahoma 44-34
7 Stanford lost to unranked Oregon 38-36
8 Oklahoma state beat unranked Iowa state 35-31
9 LSU lost to unranked Arkansas 31-14
10 Utah lost to unranked Arizona 37-30
11 Florida beat unranked coots 24-14
12 Oklahoma beat 6 Baylor 44-34
13 Michigan state beat unranked Maryland 24-7
14 Michigan beat unranked Indiana 48-41
15 TCU beat unranked Kansas 23-17
I see no movement in the top 4 for the new rankings that come out Tuesday.
Michigan state plays Ohio state but the MSU QB may miss the game. If so that's a huge blow to the Spartans.
Biggest mover going u will be UNC and Oklahoma. Look for UNC to be in top 15 at worst. By the time we play then in ACC CG they should be top 10 if they keep winning.
Oklahoma could move to #7.
After its all said and done our 10 point win against Orangemen does not look so bad.

Yes, there is that. Truth be told, Alabama is probably playing better than anyone right now. We might not beat any "true" top 5 team right now if put up the same defense we have the past 3 weeks. UNC will give us fits.

Can't have it both ways. Either Mississippi State was ranked, which it was somewhere around #20, or you can't list Baylor as #6. Which is not to say Alabama should slip past us. But you have to be intellectually honest.

To summerize,its not that our win over Syracuse was good,bad ,or indifferent.
The problem was not that it was an ugly win,or a pretty loss.
THE PROBLEM WAS IN THE EXECUTION.
We stunk on both side of the ball.Fumbles,overthrown passes,having to rely on
Rob Spence Bubble screens,a defense that couldn't tackle,giving up way to many yards to a 3rd string qb,
penalites,false starts,even a stupid unsportsman like conduct penalty.
That is the issue.Play like that against Wake,or the coots,or the tarholes,and you will be in a New Years Day Six Bowl,but not in the CFP's.
Oh,and I could care what those other teams do,or did.Clemson is my team,and I want them playing way past New Years Day.

Unc will get beat in one of the next two games. They will be tough to beat in Charlotte but I still think we will play better against Usc and Unc.
