To all the “It’s not the coaching crowd”

Sep 27, 2021, 9:08 AM

There are not 100+ Fbs programs with better offensive talent than us....period! The difference is coaching!

Apparently everyone can see this clearly - except Dabo? i haven’t seen the “brilliance” he is seeing.

There is more than enough blame to go around...

Sep 27, 2021, 9:25 AM

meaning it's more than just one issue. It's a combination of things which is why the fix isn't so simple.

Sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.

Exactly...

There is room for improvement for everyone. Fixing one thing will not fix this offense.

What coaching experience did Spiller and Grisham have

Sep 27, 2021, 9:32 AM

prior to being handed the keys to the RB and WR rooms? Has Tony Elliott ever coached TE's before? We have high profile offensive players under the guidance of unqualified coaches, imho.

Let's agree to disagree and meet in the middle. The buck stops on the desks of the coaches and they have to get results. The players are only as good as those that put on the uniforms and they have to respond to the coaches, put in the work and have the heart to out play their opponents. Except for our linebackers, I just do not see any players who wear BYOG shirts. It is only going to be fixed by better players because we all assume our players are all great and if you have played a sport, you know what assume means.

Tony E Has Been Able Baffle Them With....

Sep 27, 2021, 9:48 AM

Bullcrap rather than dazzle them with brilliance . Dabo just hasn't figured it out yet .

When we only put up 150 yards of offense against another team like Pitt, Dabo will be at a crossroads .

Does your mom and dad know you troll the men's bathrooms looking for action at Clemson games ?

It's not about talent.

Sep 27, 2021, 10:00 AM

It's about development and refinement of skill. Obviously we are lacking in development and certainly refinement of skill(s) at this point.

It's also not about talent it's about dedication and focus (especially to details).

I think most of our problem lies in the focus area particularly to details.

Changing personnel might work and it might make things worse. Our team suffered when Lyn J missed his starting job but his attitude must have been one of those 'one bad apple,' things to cost him his starting position.

I believe our coaches were justified to make that change. I'm not sure they can justify swapping quarterbacks at this point. Why so many here assume they know that changing QBs is what Clemson Football needs defies what we know about Dabo.

We've seen Dabo send our best WR, Deon, home before a big road game. Even with another great WR out with a neck injury. Dabo doesn't play mind games with our guys. We know he is right when he makes a change and therefor we should know he is right when he doesn't.

Ultimately, players win games and coaches lose them so I'm not contesting any belief that our coaches are responsible for out poor offensive showing this season. I'm just not ready to throw out the baby with the bath water. Not yet.

coaches get paid.. so it traditionally has always

Sep 27, 2021, 10:32 AM

been a coaching fault.

i may be old fashion
If you win its because of the players

if you lose it is because of the coaches.

NIL blurs the lines a bit.

Geville Tiger on Clemson football , "Dabo's only problem is he has to deal with turd fans questioning every move he makes.”
