That is a realistic assessment. GT may expect to surprise people, but I don't think they will get Clemson. The first three games get us a chance to iron out issues on offense. I hope DJ shines and regains his confidence, and I hope Klubnik gets his opportunities as well, but I expect the offense to be strong by game four and the defense to be dominant all year.

GT hasn't won more than 3 games in a season under Geoff Collins, and they are tied for last in the ACC for returning production with just 49%.

The lost their best player (RB Jahmyr Gibbs) and their #2, #3 & #4 WR's. The lost all starters on the D line as well.

This, off a team that got outscored 100-0 their last 2 games.


I will be shocked if GT wins more than 3 games this season. I calling a win over Western Carolina, Duke, and maybe they'll trip up and get lucky vs someone like UVA, FSU or UNC.

I heard somewhere that GT signed 17 or 19 portal guys. What that means is who knows what they are. I predict the score on opening night to be.
