but he doesn't roll like that. He would rather send a meteor into our atmosphere above a football game to let people know how awesome he is.

As God told Job...If you cannot answer the questions as to

Sep 18, 2022, 7:25 PM

what keeps the stars in the sky or the oceans in their depths, don't ask me about the bigger questions. As a Christian, the death of an innocent person is the hardest thing to ever deal with. I guess you could say my response is some sort of denial. All I can say is that, God, hopefully, has a much bigger picture in the end, than our trials here on earth. I guess it is just faith. People ask how can you believe in something you have not, nor ever will see. Well, I say the many people believe in many things they have never seen. As a Christian, I believe the Ella is now in a terrific place, where she has no more pain. And, as I have said before. When I get to heaven, the first thing I am going to ask St. Peter is,"Where is the lake?"

Great response, Spud! I wish I could have given you more than 1 TU! I believe the first words anyone speaks in heaven are, "Oh, now I see"! God has a bigger plan and we will understand it in due time. Until then, I will trust in his infinite wisdom.

Well stated Spud.

Well, now that was a big swing and miss . . .

A God who can send a shooting star, for any occasion, or no occasion at all, is infinitely beyond our pay grade.

But He can and has done way more than that to display his majesty. He created immense stars and galaxies by mere command, He spreads the clouds and scatters lightning, he sets the foundations of the earth and the depths of the oceans, and directs the course of seasons and the lives and actions of beasts.

He also speaks and sends prophets, directs history, and ruins kingdoms. He incarnates his Son, absorbs death, redeems his faithful, and judges the wicked.

Sending a shooting star? That's just what He does for raw kicks.

Pretty cool moment, but shooting stars aren’t all that rare (about a million worldwide every day). Your chances of seeing one are pretty good on any given clear night.

Oh, I agree it’s pretty cool…was just pointing out that shooting stars aren’t really a rare occurrence as indicated in the article. I guess I can see how some may have misunderstood my intent.

Really cool video. Gives a good fan experience view of the teams entrance to the field. Had to be great being there I know.

ACC network didn't go to the game until about half way through the first quarter... said it was on ESPN+ which is not on my TV :(

I cannot find the meteor on the video...would someone (that can see it) consider posting a screenshot??

If not that's fine. Thanks either way :)

At the top of the video are the words "We will rock you." Look just below the letters "c' and 'k' at the 48 second mark of the video, and you will see a flicker for a fraction of a second. That is the shooting star. It is just a quick flicker, so you will likely need to rewind it several times to spot it.

It's much easier to see if you watch the embedded video in the article versus on Youtube.
