I'd say he has pretty awesome talent plus a real nose for the football. Add to that a heart as big as Texas for the game he seems to love, and you have a great player. JMO

Absolutely, I remember well how most of us biotched, and moaned about Dabo handing out legacy scholarships. But in Nolan's case, his dad Kevin Turner was pretty sick with ALS, and close to his end, Dabo promises to help look out for his family bc they were best of friends from they're playing days at Bama.
And there was his son Nolan Turner that played both sides of the ball in HS, and he was a 2 star with no D 1 offers, and Dabo gives him a full ride scholarship offer at Clemson, and that really didn't set well with most T-Netters, and at that time, I felt that Dabo should have offered Nolan a walk on opportunity, and since he promised KT that he would help look after his family, it wouldn't hurt Dabo if he paid for Nolan's education at Clemson, and give that scholarship to an elite player of need.
I will be one of the first to admit that I didn't have a clue of the size of the heart that Nolan had beating in his body, and it wasn't that long before Nolan's hard work had BV, and others take notice that he/Nolan intended to earn that scholarship that Dabo gave him. That Nolan Turner kid put on weight and muscle, and it wasn't long before he started to get meaningful snaps in games that meant he better do his job, and he did, and he has earned respect from his team mates, and respect from the fans. I can and will admit that I was wrong about Nolan Turner, and that he earned that scholarship that paid his way through Clemson, and I'm happy, and proud of him, Go Nolan Turner!!!

... not only spot players with great potential, but to see that they develop into the best people and players they can be.
And along the way he’s also able to demonstrate his enormous capacity for human kindness in helping out an old friend under tragic circumstances.
Clemson is a better place for having brought in Nolan Turner.

I sure remember all the complaints about Dabo giving a scholarship to someone who didn't have a single D1 offer. Now look how exciting to see him get 7 interceptions including the one against Ohio, that was golden! I'm gonna miss his movie star good looks around Clemson. Wish him all the best. Thank you, Dabo for being smarter than the average bear!
