My take is that he is really serious about wanting to see a motivated team this week. Last week, Furman was a cupcake team that we let play like good team. He knows we should have stomped them, if only we were a little more motivated. My guess is that we will see if fired up defense this week. Conference play is about to start in earnest, so he knows it's time to get their full attention.
He isnt even a factor. I am just being realistic. By the way, I am not just being harsh. My Dad passed of cancer and did my Grandma. Prayer doesnt save terminal cancer patients. Its good to be positive though and have hope, but God isnt saving the day. Its not reality.
On a “brighter” note, Dabo’s color looks terrible. This La Tech team is doing a work on him. But seriously praying for Ella and hoping the team can play with the right mindset. The game a few years back after the passing of the former running back was an emotional week and game. These players are just young boys and men, death and severe illness usually never crosses their minds. Go Tigers
I doubt the team we are playing is "working on him". I fully expect it's Ella Bresee and their family that are on his mind, and now since the bad news has been announced, it is for all to see how Dabo really loves his teams. He's a very special kind of coach.
As far as coach's color goes, I doubt seriously he is turning into a Smurf. I chalk it up to color filter issues. LED lighting for computers, spaceighting etc... Have temperature values. 3000k 4000k and 5000k. The switching from value to value gives way to white light, incandescent light and blueish light. Furthermore, I'm just spit balling here, while watching the v-blogs during summer workouts, I noticed quite a bit of what looked to be LED driven signage around the complex. As much as it hurts to say this, the regalia we love so dear has a hint of Smurf to it. So, there's my take as an electrician and lighting enthusiast.
