Watched that songs music video. It glorifies Ho’s, murder, and rioting among other things.
I’m glad people are having fun and it may seem innocent, but the longer the black community looks at these type of rappers as role models or icons, the longer they are holding themselves down as a community. You can have good music without glorifying gang and drug culture

Yes, these "rappers" are definitely the reason "they are holding themselves down as a community". It isn't the crumbling schools, lack of investment, red lining, mass incarceration, institutional structures which are holding them back.

Not sure this is close to Epic?
Don't want to sound like a buzzkill because they are having a blast on one of their most important days of their lives. I am super happy for people that find someone special.
That said, I have no idea what was being said, sung, spewed, spouted or lip-synced?? I heard What-up and Shut-up towards the end. Not a single other word. They were singing along so obviously they learned the words somehow but when I can't understand what's being sang, it just turns into noise.
I guess I am old skool which was too kool, 80s and 90s rap like Rob Base and Dj E-Z Rock, Tone Loc, Humpty, Sir Mix-a-lot, Ice T, etc, etc. At least you could understand every word even if you didn't like that rap music.
But congrats to Peake and new Bride!
