It's apparent that he don't have a clue, and putting the blame on anything but the true cause, and that is bc he is to embarrassed to admit that he don't have the experience that D-1 power 5 FB coaches must have to command the type of scheming that has to be done at this level of college FB, For our team and for our players, I hope that Dabo recognizes his mistake and corrects by the end of the season. Streeter being an X Tiger just doesn't give him the right to be a constant failure to our offense. He can still be a good X Tiger player without being our offensive coordinator that will always be bad for Clemson FB!!!! Come back after he has 10-20 years of being an OC that has worked his way up from the bottom to D-1 power 5 conference FB. And the same goes for Wes Goodwin bc, regardless of how intelligent he is about the X's and O's of the game of FB, without the experience of how to coach what he knows to 18-20 year olds, all his knowledge is useless if he don't know how to teach what he knows.
Of every Clemson fan that graduated HS, we have that knowledge in our brains, but most of us don't know how to teach it in a way that it can make a difference to who we're teaching it to bc it doesn't stick unless we know how to teach it to stick!!! And that is why teachers has to be college educated just to be a beginner teacher, and the more they practice teaching, the better their students learn from their experience, and it works the exact same way with a coach teaching what they know about the sport they coach, the more experience they have, the better they become at teaching that sport!!!

If anything to coach our WRs . I have to admit they are not getting it done. No separation and when DJ does get the ball to them they drop it. You look at Georgia and their receivers it's night and day, ditto Bama and Tennessee. And the schemes , we are paying a Passing Game Advisor ? We are getting ripped off then.

Agreed. What separates Saban is that he goes for proven quantities at Coordinator positions. Guys that peter-principled out of HC positions. Even if it is for only a year or two, they win more championships because of it, not just that, but it’s a great example of how Saban outsmarts everyone else that’s stubborn.

throwaway down. Regardless of how many yards we needed, it was the same conservative crap on 2nd. Putting us in constant 3rd and long high pressure downs to get blitzed on, while guys are running routes that are way too long and DJ is holding the ball as if he doesn’t understand what 2.7 seconds is.

I don’t tend to agree with a lot of what you post haha but I do here and all you have to do is look at UVA and that offense that was actually pretty good with Brennan and Elliot drove that offense in the dirt and pissed on it … streeter didn’t deserve this job but this whole crap started with Elliot … this program has done way too much for those guys to be the best options

Yes, you were able to hit a few edge plays at the beginning. Then the edge plays quit working because that is about all you called. The Notre Dame fans behind me were commenting on it. That is the worst offensive play calls from a Clemson OC in a very long time. Go look in the mirror tonight. The dismal offensive performance lies directly with you.

Doesn't Dabo ever watch other teams that have great OCs? Dabo says, "best is the standard". Is Streeter the gold-standard of OCs? I'd say he's about a C+.

I don’t care what the star ratings are. We whiffed on evaluation or development or just bad luck. No one will admit this. Everyone wants to blame the OC/DC. Fine no argument. But this team is not elite talent. Good, not great. Good teams win a lot of games, but not good enough to phone it in on stinkers like this one and still win. Our record ain’t looking so good any more. NC State will be our only ranked win after this week. The D is not as good as last year. Three 1st rounders? Where?
There is no one on offense that strikes fear into opposing D. Consider all the great receivers Boyd, Watson and TL had. They gone. Our receivers cannot get separation or the 50/50 balls they keep getting thrown, even when they are on target. WRU closed the Clemson extension apparently, DJU not good enough to make up for it.
They all better Man Up or Louisville might break out the bats next week.
