No one has had the type of turnaround TL16 has had from 1 year to the next!

And you could argue being coached by Urban Meyer is more damaging to a player's career than any injury.

Interested to see in the article that an actual game is no longer played. Haven't watched in years so wasn't aware when the format changed. Enjoyed those games when the college all star teams played against the pros.

Football is just a really tough sport for an All-Star game format. Baseball is pretty easy, since it's relatively low contact anyway, and the fact that there are actual stakes with the winning league getting home field in the WS makes it interesting. Basketball is still kind of fun because watching basketball with nearly 0 defense is still entertaining, and they usually get pretty competitive once they get close to the end. Half-effort football is just boring though. And there are still so many non-contact injuries in football that a lot of the stars just don't want to risk it. Then they stopped playing the games in Hawaii, so it made it even less attractive of an event. I hope that the skills competition format this year will be more fun to watch and thought it might attract more stars, but the AFC is already down to having Tyler Huntley as one of the participants, so maybe not.
